LOCAL FUNDRAISING

 Local Fundraising is becoming a common phenomenon in Tanzania, we're increasing seeing both International and National organizations mobilizing resources through fundraising. Recently, organizations such as AMREF – Stand up for African Mothers Campaign and Benjamin William Mkapa HIV/AIDS Foundation – Mkapa Fellows Program have been actively engaging local corporates and individuals to directly contribute towards its initiatives that are directly aimed at improving the lives of Tanzania’s. 
This shift in how we mobilize resources for our programs is critical, as it will enable more and more organizations (especially national organizations that lack financial resources) to come up with innovative programs that will be able to offer sustainable solutions to our communities. Through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm companies have also been actively responding to local solutions to address the challenges facing our country, especially in health and education.    This new partnership will see more strategic partnerships and collaboration between the companies and NGO’s.
